Rising damp treatment with liquid DPM and damp-resistant replastering

Customer concern: Rising damp to internal walls in a property with high external ground levels.
Findings: External ground levels sat high against the walls, so a chemical damp-proof course alone would not manage the water reaching the internal face. A liquid membrane approach was specified.
Remedial works: A liquid damp-proof membrane was applied to the affected wall bases to manage the high external ground levels, followed by damp-resistant replastering.
Outcome: The walls were reinstated with a system appropriate to the high ground levels identified during investigation.
