Why we only ask for your contact details
Damp is a symptom, not a diagnosis. The same damp patch, patch of mould or musty smell can be caused by several very different problems — rising damp, penetrating damp after rain, condensation on a cold surface, a plumbing leak, bridging of the damp-proof course, or defective render, pointing or guttering. Rather than make you fill in a long form, our team will call or email you to talk through what you are seeing and advise on the most appropriate next step.
If you have photographs of the problem, they are genuinely useful — clear pictures taken on your phone often tell us more than a long description. You can send them over WhatsApp or by email once we are in touch.
What happens after you enquire
Once you submit your enquiry it is sent directly to the Procure Group team, and you receive an automatic email confirming we have received it, along with your reference number. Our team then contacts you about the appropriate next step. Where an inspection or damp survey is required, we will arrange one at a time that suits you. Following any survey you receive a written report with photographs, the likely cause and proportionate recommendations — clearly separating what is necessary from what is advisory or optional, so you stay in control of the decision.
We investigate the cause before recommending treatment and we avoid unnecessary or unsupported remedial work. That means we will not automatically recommend chemical damp-proof course injection, and we treat mould as a sign of an underlying moisture condition rather than something to simply spray over.
